Voxmiro ("we", "us") helps Shopify merchants confirm Cash-on-Delivery orders by placing an automated voice call to the customer. This policy explains what we handle and why.
When a merchant installs Voxmiro, and only for orders they choose to confirm, we process:
This data is used only to place the confirmation call, answer the customer's questions about their order on that call, and report the outcome to the merchant. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to build customer profiles. A customer who asks not to be called again is added to the merchant's Do-Not-Call list and is not called again.
Personal data on a call (name, phone number, address, transcript and any recording) is kept for 365 days after the call, then automatically anonymised. The call's outcome and duration are kept, without anything that identifies the customer, for billing and reporting. Data is deleted sooner when a customer or merchant asks: we act on Shopify's data deletion requests, and when a merchant uninstalls Voxmiro, their store's personal data is erased as soon as Shopify sends its deletion request, 48 hours after the uninstall. A phone number on a Do-Not-Call list is kept, on its own, so the opt-out keeps being honoured.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, including backups, and access is limited to the Voxmiro team.
We use these providers to deliver the service. Each processes data only for that purpose:
voxmiro.com uses Google Analytics, PostHog and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use the site. They see pages visited and device details, not your customers' data. If you fill in our pilot form, we use what you send only to reply to you.
Merchants control which orders are confirmed and can uninstall Voxmiro at any time, which stops all data processing. Customers can decline or cancel on the call itself.
Questions about privacy or data requests: [email protected]. How we process data for merchants is also set out in our Terms of Service.
